Pastor

Bro. John Boler

John Boler was born in Memphis, Tennessee.  He came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior in June of 1984.  In 1988, his family moved to Nesbit, MS.  Throughout the next several years, he felt a desire and call to serve the Lord in the gospel ministry. John surrendered his life to full time ministry in July of 1996.  His call to ministry led him to BlueMountainCollege.  At BlueMountain, John met his wife, Elizabeth.  After Blue Mountain, John enrolled at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary.  At Mid-America, John earned a Master of Divinity with emphasis in Pastoral Ministries.  During this time, John pastored his first church in Hernando, Mississippi. 

John has served at Holly since 2007.  He is currently enrolled at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary working towards a Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching.  He plans to graduate in 2013.  John and Elizabeth have been married for twelve years.  They have been blessed with three children, John Michael, Joleigh, and Joel. 

 Minister of Youth/Children

Bro. Kevin Cooley

 Kevin is a native of Corinth, MS.  He began serving at Holly Baptist Church in April of 2009 as our Minister of Education and Missions.  In July 2010, Kevin became our Minister of Youth/Children.  Kevin came to know Jesus as Lord and Savior at a young  age.  He received a B.A. degree from Mississippi State University, majoring in Banking and Finance.  In 2007, Kevin answered God's calling to ministry.  He is currently attending Southern Baptist Theological Seminary as a Master's of Divinity student, with an emphasis in Biblical Counseling.

Kevin and his wife, Laura Little Cooley, have been married for 20 years.  They are the parents of two daughters, Caroline and Olivia. 

Secretary

Karen Hodum

 Born in Corinth, MS and accepted Jesus as Savior in 1982.  She has been a member of Holly since 1996 and has been serving as secretary of Holly since 2002.  Married to Chuck Hodum for 14 years and they've been blessed with two children, Ntahan and Evan.
